Look....I'm rhyming mum!

I've got some grade-A feelers
and a beautiful knife
I've got the centre of the universe
alive in my stride
I've got this bottle of whiskey
and the books that I've read
I've got everything I need
but the hole in your head

I've got the wind, the rain,
a toy boat to row
I've got no more people to see
and everywhere to go
I've got a last chance supper
on a rose covered bed
I've got everything I need
but the hole in your head
('aint that right!)

She needed twenty eight stitches,
but I needed a ride.
He was pathetically lost without her,
but I needed a prize.
I've been immortally blessed
God knows I'm not dead
I've got everything I need
bar the hole in your head.

I would stare down a barrel
or lick the blood off a knive,
backhand a spineless father
if he was alive
I spell family like dysfunctional
butter like bread
I've got everything I need
but this hole in my head.
