I Dont Love You.

This bruise marks the spot where
You had your tight grip on me.
You pulled me by the arm,
And told me it was urgent.
So I rushed along with you,
My feet tripping over one another.
I was walking too fast.
You shove through crowds of people,
In this busy and largely populated city.
Some people making rude comments, getting furious.
You then pulled me through bushes.

We finally reached our destination.
As you pulled me into a meadow,
Filled with bright colored flowers and
Emerald green grass.
We were peacefully alone.
Tall trees made barriors around us,
Blocking us from everybody else.
Before I could ask what the purpose of all this was,
You layed down on the ground and
Pulled me down beside you.
Rabbits hopped through the bushes.
Squirrels ran up the trees.
We quietly embraced.
In a different kind of way.
We just stared at each other.
You caressed my face in your hands.
"I have to tell you something."
You said.
I smiled and nodded.
You brought your mouth next to my ear
And moved my hair out of the way.
"I love you."
You whispered.

Neither of us are the type of people
To say I love you just for the sake of it.
We want to say it when we actually love that person.
At the right time.
Now I know you were waiting for me to say it back.
But I opened my mouth and no words came out.
A tear rolled down my cheek,
Slowly fading into the grass.
I got up and looked down at you apologetically.
I managed to speak,
"I'm sorry, I have to go."
I turned the around and walked the other way.
Leaving you and the meadow behind in my shadows.

As I left I thought about what just happened.
I wasnt sure what I had done.
I was confused about how I felt.
My mind pumped more and more thoughts.
I was ready to explode.
I was over-welmed.
I didnt know why I didnt say it back.
Maybe I dont love you.
I'm honestly not sure.
But maybe I love someone else.
I think I do.
So as you realize you love me,
I just might've realized I love someone else.
There's only one thing that im sure of now.
Ever since that day,
I never seen you again. . .
Where'd you go.?
