From the perspective of a former rapist.
I was the headwind, keeping you alone.
I was the knife, exposing the bone.
Crawl on all fours, plant my face against your skin
Pressed my palm to your chest, but I felt nothing.
Work your hands, you conceal your apprehension.
Found your mouth in the dark, no signs of tension.
Read the lines of your face for something in bold
You are a stone, emotionless and cold.
You gave into me, and I crashed into you.
Turn off the light, left lying in the gloom.
