Know that I love you, in a manner of speaking                  
That speaks poetically from deep within my heart                
In a manner that knows no boundaries nor limits                  
That knows of friendship and respect and caring                  
For your mind and heart and soul                  
And the moon that orbits from afar                  
Yet lights the darkness that surrounds you            
Consuming phantoms that haunted the past                 
I wish I had such unconditional light                  
Shining on the shadows of the night                  
For one as old and broken as the promises of youth                  
Who desires to mend your pain with truth                  
To heal your muse and inspire your ink                  
To unfurl a fallen angel's wings                  
And lift your spirit to the eagles eye                  
Then paint my heart across your sky                  
Dripping with passion in every hue              
Rekindle in me all I'll inspire you                  
Let us share the wealth of fertile fine arts                  
Born within two creative hearts
