Thoughts on a lover
.
What is the meaning of falling in love?
Of companionships to have someone to think of
When two souls unite together
It's nothing holy
But needs to be cherished by another
It may not be the story book fairy tale you've grown up listening to
But it will carry honesty and grace
Of understanding loyalty and friendship
Not of ungainly touches or mandatory coituses
It is the splendid summer afternoons
Cherishing an ice candy
Or reading bridges of Madison county
We may not engrave our names
In eternal external perpetuity
But our love and youth shall remain in continuity
To say "I love you and I love to live you"
And to know of a reciprocal showering upon you
From the other end
Is enough reassurance for a lifetime of endearment
Speaking the unspoken
Understanding the misunderstood
Of duties we are never told
But out of magic we behold
The magic of affection of love
We fit each other like a glove
Holding hands as we walk down the river bed
Looking at the Moon waiting for the moment to never end.
Crying, fighting, undeniably biting
Each others words
But enjoying every bit of closeness
The arguments augment us towards remembering the attractiveness
We once found outlandishly irresistible
Childish, insufferable, boorish
Inadmissable
Our gratitude may not be the best work of art
Not to be put up in a galleria of critics
But to be showcased in the inner echoing auditoriums of the heart
The idea of living apart, would tear us apart
Let me have the honour of living a life with you
Like no other
Give me the privilege of showing you my emotions unedited
Let me paint the untainted walls of my heart
With you all over it
Let me fall for you. Fall in love with you again again and again from the end to the very start.
