Dream Weaver
the breeze of you, it
musses my hair and just as
quickly is woven
through with the night when you
rub a lamp and magic falls
distant flurries from
the arc of galactic arms
change their colors as
you reach up to gather them
knotted into dreams for me
what have I for you
bringer of all heaven-sent
and scented as proof
to woo you stay, to have me
know your universe as mine

And i see a dream catcher being made...by him from her...gazing at mine over my bed...it is suposed to comfort my sleep.
This poem makes me sad. They cannot rub lamps and make magic for us..or make charms to make love stay.
Its the human reality in us..that takes the other by surprise..as if they didnt know, we are human...and magic does not exist.

Gosh Jennifer lovely, I'm sorry I didn't mean to post something that would sadden you so. I realize you're speaking about a dream catcher that you actually have on a wall in your bedroom, yes? But this piece I've written (only just earlier as one day passed into the start of the next) is about a celestial lover who she is enchanted by as a dream weaver. Actually, while I wrote it I felt like I was adrift and bedazzled by the way deep space interacts with something as earth-bound like myself. You may have noticed even this early on since you and I met how much my passion for astronomy affects my writing. Or perhaps it's too soon to assume that you have. But sweetheart, please... don't be sad. Let yourself join in the magic that I feel even when things go wrong which helps me to recover. I tend to be dreamy-eyed about such things.
