Christian Antisemitism  --  How And When Did It Originate??

How and when did Christian anti-semitism start?
After the first Jewish Revolt against Rome
The Roman-Jewish War of 66-70 AD followed,
Resulting in the slaughter of the Jews.
tAfterward,the remaining Jews and Christians
put up with each other,commiserating together.

But then came the Second Jewish Revolt
Against the Roman over-lords in 135 AD.
The earlier revolt had no Messiah as its leader.
The rabbis thought maybe that's why it failed.
So after the second revolt began,and to help it along,
Rabbi Akivah(?) anointed its leader,Jesus Bar Kocba
As none other than the long-awaited "Messiah of Israel".

This was a faux pas as far as getting Christian support.
They couldn't endorse a revolt headed by a false Messiah !!
The Jews called the Christian Jews "unpatriotic traitors,"
Blaming them for the humiliating and crushing defeat
of Jewish aspirations for an independent Israel.

It was this hateful name-calling of the worst kind
That led (seemingly) forever to the bad blood between Jews and Christians.
In short, Christian antisemitism originated in response
To the Jews' attempt to manipulate the Jewish believers in Jesus
Into putting patriotism(desire for Israel to be free)
above religion (desire to serve the cause of Christ).
The Jews, especially Rabbi Akiva(?), had no business
Using religious zeal as a way to win a hopeless war
That should never have been fought.
(He should have read Jeremiah one more time.)

Antisemitism was the result.
The Jews brought it on themselves.
If they want to blame somebody,
Don't blame Christ or Christians(alone),
Blame Rabbi Akiva and his misguided followers.
