Proud and black ( The Crow )

Every day at four
rain, sun, the same.
Black,proud, alone.
beside a killer road.

Black, proud, alone.
shiny coat, the best
a beak can preen
rain, sun the same.

Black proud, alone.
Every day at four,
beside the road
which takes its toll.

Black, proud,alone.
 road-kill for tea,
none share the road
which takes its toll . . . .
