WINTER'S COMING...

Winter's coming, a season to be dreadfully feared.                       Cold, dismal and painful, it's darkness toys with my sanity.       Short dreary days, my night's, a never-ending abyss.                    Faded memories come alive, screeching and screaming.            My body's achingly burning, locking joints in place.                      Fibromyalgia and arthritis wreaking havoc, turning me into frankenstina.                            A kind, gentle spirit, except when winter comes, be prepared to run.                              I get mean, not grumpy, downright. fucking. mean. The   pain and dank darkness blinding me to reason.                 Depression dragging me into it's heartless cellar. My alters, screaming and hateful, loving and soothing, but never angry nor kind enough to help me lose time.                                          Sniffling and crying unshed tears leave me breathless. All the lessons I've learned lay buried beneath the snow.              Sweet Heavenly Father, please bring spring sooner than soon.  Restore my sanity and bring a bit of peace.                                     Winter's coming...
