Umami
sweetness
Everything is always ok.
Pleases my every irritability
Agrees with all my thoughts
Reassures my insecurity
sourness
Cant seem to be satisfied
Offer her massages and gifts
Stress frowns and puckered faces
No thought can offer a lift
bitterness
What have you done for me
And the world owes me
Always getting the short end of the stick
Which is why you are not the payee
saltiness
She is capable and magnifying
The drama is palpable
Brings out each nuance
In explicit and enormous babble
umami
But there is one I have yet to taste
One whom I have felt her grace
I have not met her for real
But its a moment I would steal
If my mouth should salivate
I certainly would not hesitate
From incompletion of the senses
To relieve me of my former tenses
I imagine her taste to be salty and sweet
Her conversation to be intellectually complete
The depth of her mind that only I can stare
As she warms my soul and confronts my fear
The bitter challenge of her beautiful form
As I savor her through our magnetic storm
In the sour moments that we end our tryst
I will discover that its her I myst.
