A Letter From Your Stable Self

I’m writing this
to remember
the time I’m in
right now

I don’t have
anxiety
or
a panic attack
because the world
isn’t
an evil place
and neither are
the people
in it

I’m not
worried
about the
rest of my life
because
what matters is
now

If I gain
weight
I can
lose it
again

If life
shows its
ugliest face
I can
reach out
for help

If I should
lose
a friend
I still got
my loved ones
if I should
lose
a loved one
I still got
my friends

If i lose
the ability
to
be creative
there’s so
much more
to do

and if the world
get’s dark
don’t forget
it’s also
easier
to hide

Death
is inevitable
but that makes
our fragile lives
so much more
destined
to be
enjoyed

and the most
important
thing is
that it’s
okay
to wait
another day
if
            hope
            ideas
            or
            motivation
still need
            help from others
            inspiration
            or
            the golden star
            on the horizon

and the
best thing
you can do
is to
keep your eyes
open
