Blind Eye

So while the innocent children are bleeding- to death
the ignorant world is sleeping- hear the last breath
soldiers are murdering in cold blood- high on meth
but your fall is eminent- like the fall of Macbeth

you murdered his son and then planted a knife
murdered his innocent daughter & beautiful wife
guess color and creed determine the value of life
surprised- the future generations traumatized
truth is self-evident, it ain’t no longer disguised

how can they be bullies, when you got the bullets
watched too many movies, reality is really ruthless
decades of talk has proven to be foolish & useless
caught up in a lie- like, look at My Lai or Myanmar
their philosophy is so simple- comply or die
labeled a ‘bad guy’, if you don’t swallow the lie
see justice on the run, so time to wave goodbye
why- so many good people just turn a blind eye
indirectly- deny- people the right to stay alive
