Quietly, I sit and think,
Bringing tears close to the brink.
Of love that's gained and lost again,
Too many feelings to my chagrin.
My soul hath left this world above,
Too many failed attempt at love.
Perchance the one I seek be lost,
Somewhere in time, our paths have crossed.

Until that wondrous day arrive,
I'll keep this cursed heart alive.
I'll search the stars for you my dear,
Until the day that you are near.
For now I'm chained by earthly ties,
My spirit will search, when body dies.
With your love to fill my soul,
This empty heart, again be whole
