It's waking in the middle of the night to see the sight of you gone from my side.
That's when I remember you where never there to start.
It's not the coffee keeping my brain wake, it's the noise in my veins you've made ache for you once more.
But, I knew it was the last time I'd see you after you walked out my bedroom door.
You and I, are now no more. The question lingers, was I ever even yours?
