Two Sided

Waxing poetic to keep the light lit
All my radiance is soaked by bricks quick
Conforming from my words I think I quit
You're walking beneath the sheets
On your own side, dodging my greets
Don't want to catch the girly undertones
But I'm not one for hatred, or anger-groans

You can have yourself, I don't mind
I am getting heavy, in the chest you'll find
Someone of the same heart-eating kind
It seems such a trashy waste
All kind words and teaching grace
I hope you'll find something better
I think I admire, you're one go getter

Talking into saplings, my listless eyelids
Speaking in transforming messages hid
Sunlight peaking to your medicated veins
Cutting around joints, cutting losses for gains
I get so heavy, from the chest
I am tongue twisted, and wish you best
To tame for the entertainment
Emphatic stones of amusement
It's curling up in your smoke
It sneaking up my spine
Its dying in the shadow-minded bullets of the vine
But staying alive in the two-sided street of time
Stay with me, up late just sit
I am waxing poetic just to keep the lights lit
