October Past

Let me redress this situation  
linger upon this beautiful thought,  
my mind,  
been so singular in you  
that I know little of past passages  

Though with you it feels as it always was  
yesterday's adventuring bringing today's
pivotal turn towards tomorrow's fateful combination
into one sound wave
becoming creatively just so  
complete.  

Was I born with the love  
this daily smile I give  
that you just damn well know  
is for you only  
and I'd give everytime  
and much much more  
if my circumstances were there  
because it's all I know  
all I want to do  
being with you  

My mind often a blank page  
though  
at the bottom right corner  
yeah for sure  
your name  
always to be written first  
along side mine  

So I will readress this desire  
balance out my love supreme  
with what you shower upon my heart  
cleanse yours with my written word  
till you fall asleep dreaming once more  
your arms  
protective  
around me  
the I love you's whispered  
echoing truth  
lulling you to restfulness once again
