That beautiful girl
In a crowded room she smiles
But I see the scars
What can I say? What can I do?
I want to tell her it's alright
She is not alone. I know how it feels.
I want to hug her. Tell her she matters. She is important.
I want her to look at herself and see a beautiful girl. In the worst of times.
But in a crowded room, I can't.
So I sit there. And pretend nothing is wrong.
When on the inside, everything is.
