To be admired and praised
To be flawless and adored.
To me it means perfection.
Never allowed to show pain
Or any resemblance of feeling.
How could anything in life
Be wrong for you?
Face of an angel
What more could you want?
A voice? To be seen?
There’s no importance
In being loved for your soul.
Everyone wants to be you
But would they have the strength
To swallow their tears
And stand tall in the darkness.
Do you think they could deal
With a watchful eye
To disclaim beauty
To pronounce failure?
To be beautiful is to be perfect.
To be perfect is to be forgotten.[/font]
