Two-Faced, but Don't Let Them Give You A Permanent Mad Face

The hypocrites are all around you
in every aspect of life
to breath air is to have to deal with them
so try to manage that strife
They might try to sell you a car
or sell something to people you love
don't mind getting down and dirty
taking off those otherwise immaculate gloves
They even create art here
written ditties so pretty and profund
but the contradictions and trite displays
can make you question even the most solid ground
Like the one claiming to be so pure and loyal
couldn't ever collaborate with you
that sentiment was anything but honest
as if my eyes were shut closed with glue
Then find that same person suppose to be so devoted
has created a piece with a writer you so admire
find out that those other partners can be found all around
so that line given should be sent to the pyre
Well the rejection over a meeting of the minds
is not the sore spot
it is rather the deceit involved in the process
for that just isn't something I was taught
So as we travel through the world
insincerity is something we all in some shape face
hopefully we don't stay bitter
for all of us were destined for a better place
In my case I won't spend anymore energy
for the cut is not worthy of more time
instead I will be happy that I was given this day
yet another avenue for bliss I may find
