Confessions to my D.C
I sat my pretty little phat ass,
You turned back and looked,
Then you looked again,
I didn't see you turn but I felt your eyes on me,
You said I knew someone you knew,
We then exchanged smiles as we dialed a sequence of numbers to exchange as well,
Now all I do is think of that very moment when I first looked up at you,
I pray that I could reverse to that day,
I would grant you with the peace of mind,
So you wouldn't have to return to your other past,
I hope there's still time left to finish creating our present,
While we can still put together our blueprint
Epilogue: When you meet someone new for the first time in a long time, you have no idea what to do. It's been so long since you've tried "getting to know someone." It's like you've become lazy in the dating world. A past relationship was filled with so much trial and stress that you're just not ready to go through that again. But have you ever stopped and wondered: Not every person that'll come into you life will be a pain in the ass to deal with? I wish people would open up more, have a broad, infinite way of thinking. Don't get so afraid to love again or even having feelings that you leave a brand new chapter untouched just to run back.
