Abyss Walker
I've traveled the endless abyss for a decade now.
I've seen so many come and go. Age twenty-two.
It never meant anything, not till I knew them.
But I trekked on.
With company, or in solitude.
I've run, fought, taught, learned to laugh and love.
I've seen, been given, and gave power.
I understand the difference between trying and doing.
I am always making sure my actions match what my mouth says.
I've tripped, stumbled, bled, cryed and cared to get where I am.
I will always love the abyss.
Because no matter which way you turn, there is no going back.
