“The real world…”

The real world,
It ain’t nice and dandy;
It ain’t sweet like candy.
     The real world
Is so very mean;
It ain’t so very keen.
     There is crime everywhere
Ups the streets and in the square.
     People can be killed at any moment
In the real world: anytime, or any place.
     People can also disappear without a trace,
Never to be heard from again.
     People cheat
           And people lie;
     People live on the street,
     And people die,
     For that is the way of the world,
The real world…
     And it sucks.
