"THE HEAVENS  DECLARE [THE BIG BANG WHICH IS] THE GLORY OF GOD" (Psalms 19.1)

Psalms 19, verse 1, actually says,
"The heavens declare the glory of God."
So why do I paraphrase it the way that i do?
First of all, "the Heavens" refers to the skies.
And just what is it that the skies have to "declare"?
Nothing audible, rather it is something VISUAL.
The skies reveal or "declare" the light of the stars!

Astronomers then run that starlight thru spectroscopes, etc.
Which divide the light into the 7 colors like a prism does.
But they have discovered there is more red than there should be.
This is explained by what's called, "the Doppler Effect."
It means that all the galaxies are zooming away from us,
The universe is EXPANDING, that's what the skies/stars are telling us!
If you think of that expansion as a movie and play it backward,
You have the universe getting smaller and smaller until...
Until the whole thing crashes into itself, literally disappearing!

This tells the astronomers that the universe came forth from a single point,
In the form of a tremendous release of energy  TRILLIONS of degrees of heat.
That heat energy has since become all the matter in the stars and planets in the universe!
And this ejaculation of raw energy in all directions took less than a split second.

It has since become known as "The Big Bang" but that's a misnomer
For it must have been actually silent due to the lack of sound waves.

But why do i claim the Big Bang is to "the glory of God"?
Because of the three superlatives, the three extremes, involved.
Think of it - (1)The LARGEST amount of matter (all the matter in today's universe)
(Not as matter but as energy which has since become matter),
Coming forth from (2)the NARROWEST of portals - smaller than an atom!
All within how long a period of time?
You guessed it, (3)the SHORTEST time frame, a nano-second!

To reiterate, The LARGEST quantity
came forth from the SMALLEST area
In the SHORTEST amount of time, no time at all !!!!

If that doesn't impress you,
Check your head,
you may be brain-dead.

It seems to me that God was putting Himself to the ultimate test.
Making it(the creating of the universe) as hard as He could
So that He could then be proud of himself for accomplishing a truly great feat!

PS: the general rule, let's say, is that the harder the feat, the greater the glory.
If so, then God deserves our unbridled praise for producing the BIG BANG,
Pulling off the creation of the universe without a snag, without a hitch!

PS #2 In case you are unfamiliar with "the Doppler Effect"
let me try to explain it. If you throw a rock into a lake that is still,
The ripples are spaced out by a certain amount of distance between them, OK?
But if instead of a rock, I throw a miniature ship into the water,
The ripples are compacted in the direction the ship is traveling.

Anyway, when the source of the sound waves is moving
into the sound waves, and toward the person listening,
The distance between the sound waves is shortened,
so the sound is higher in pitch, and shorter in frequency.
The reverse is true when the source of the waves is moving away.
The frequency becomes lower as the gap becomes wider.
Tell me if this explanatory note is clear or unclear.Thanks.
