I'll be Gone Soon
There’s a world where “I love you” is just a cheap phrase to get laid
There’s a world full of tragedy and forgotten friendships
Where I’m trapped in bed contemplating what life’s meant to be about
Not living but simply breathing
Trying to forget that I’ll never really get out
There’s a world where 5 year olds get cancer and don’t make it to 6
There’s a world where marriage is a commitment that never lasts
Where the voices never leave me
And their whispers remind me I’m alone
They remind me how there is no help, there is no remedy
There’s a world where you will can be rejected for your race, gender, or sexuality
There’s a world full of suicidal teens
Where I’m screaming perpetually but no one is hearing
No one listens
To the lonely girl who is steadily disappearing
There is a world where no one seems to care
There is a world where one day I won’t exist
This world is reality
