Stormy mornin
Lying in Bed on a stormy morning,
Don’t have to be anywhere,
Windows slightly open, and the rain scent fills up house and home,
Freshly washed sheets, pulled up, and over,
Blankets on the bed in a wild mess
Pushing up off the bed with tired arms, and gingerly wiping sleep away from eyes
To take in the view of the morning rain,
Smell of Chorizo cooking, and eggs with a Flour Tortilla,
It makes me smile,
Remembering some of the most favorite childhood memories,
The smell of breakfast cooking on a stormy morning
Overcast, and the rain fall, singing me good day,
Don’t have to be anywhere,
Windows slightly open, and the rain scent fills up house and home,
Freshly washed sheets, pulled up, and over,
Blankets on the bed in a wild mess
Pushing up off the bed with tired arms, and gingerly wiping sleep away from eyes
To take in the view of the morning rain,
Smell of Chorizo cooking, and eggs with a Flour Tortilla,
It makes me smile,
Remembering some of the most favorite childhood memories,
The smell of breakfast cooking on a stormy morning
Overcast, and the rain fall, singing me good day,
