Indelible
where did my careless heart go?
hidden amongst the shattered remains
of tea cup femininity and corset restrictions
obscured by the long shadows cast
in an empty room at noon
discarded memories sit amongst the ashes
trinkets of past lusts gone wrong
sitting primly in my glass tower
looking out at the sea at dawn
my aching vessel reaches to you
though you're a phantom
a wisp of smoke
over an untroubled lake
skipping stones in innocence
stirred waters best left alone
so with bound feet
I quietly exit
knowing in my core
I was here and left my indelible mark

ms crimson, this such a beautiful
write. > that flows so seamlessly
You have created a picture easily seen. So full of soft emotions.
Love the line"so with bound feet
I will quietly exit" I enjoyed reading
this side of you.

I love this Crim. It contains heartache but ends on a note of strength.
"hiding amongst the shattered remains
of tea cup femininity and corset restrictions"
Perfect wording! I take this as seeking freedom from repression, and it couldn't be better expressed.
" so with bound feet
I quietly exit "
This sounds submissive, and yet:
"knowing in my core
I was here and left my indelible mark"
You're getting the upper hand and no way you'll ever be forgotten. Fine work!

"sitting primly in my glass tower
looking out at the sea at dawn" - lovely melancholy filled ink. It'll never fade or wash away. Delicate images to savor. Swak- blue angel

Beautiful imagery
Sorry for such a paltry comment, but just want you to know I'm reading and enjoying as always. I've been a bit distant and distracted, not really here nor there. But I appreciate your work as always.
