What a difference......

Today is so different,
my mind is free and clear.
Beautiful images and
sounds that I hear.
Skies so blue,
wisps of white
flowing through.
Trees alive with song
this is where I belong.
Not locked in a dark
space created by me.
I want to love and be
loved; just happy.
Today happiness
shines so bright,
No longer trapped
in that dark night.
These tricks my
mind plays,
Sometimes go
on for days.
I'll take this reality for
what it is worth;
Void of sadness
and hurt.
Joy in place of pain,
sunshine, no chance
of rain.
All brought on
by a ray of love,
delivered by
a sweet Angel
from above.
