White lesson
We were kids
We didn’t know what we wanted to be when we grew up
We didn’t see it coming
You were supposed to be someone
I don’t know who
But that’s who you were supposed to be
And your last lesson still haunts me
I was supposed to be in your tailor made clothes
I was the man to be in your place
Before I became a man
My mind is unable to accept this
And your last lesson haunts me
You taught me loads
You gave me a friend
We played Spyro
And looked for your rabbit around the house
I was to be you
And you me
Because that’s who we deserved to be
And your last lesson still haunts me
You taught me the dangers of what we have
You scared me where the fear of god could never go
And your last lesson
Kids get a white coffin
We didn’t know what we wanted to be when we grew up
We didn’t see it coming
You were supposed to be someone
I don’t know who
But that’s who you were supposed to be
And your last lesson still haunts me
I was supposed to be in your tailor made clothes
I was the man to be in your place
Before I became a man
My mind is unable to accept this
And your last lesson haunts me
You taught me loads
You gave me a friend
We played Spyro
And looked for your rabbit around the house
I was to be you
And you me
Because that’s who we deserved to be
And your last lesson still haunts me
You taught me the dangers of what we have
You scared me where the fear of god could never go
And your last lesson
Kids get a white coffin
