Admitting the Truth

It's a tough decision to make
to leave the past in the past
or make the happiness last
even when it leads to heartbreak
It all comes down to a choice
between my own peace of mind
and the part of me that only you can find
If only I could find my voice
maybe this could all come to an end
But my own voice is lost
in the fear of losing a friend
