Cold
Never thought I
could be so cold.
Face burned,
my heart spurned.
My joints ache,
my body shakes.
Hands and fingers hurt;
Jacket, sweater and
two shirts.
Chilled to the bone.
With someone, yet so alone.
Whenever you are around,
it's like ice on the ground.
You bring chill bumps
and chapped lips;
frostbite and icy dips.
Never thought you
would become the
Ice Queen.
So unloving and
so mean.
You were once
sweet and warm;
Now just an icy
winter storm.
What happened?
What went wrong?
Please tell me,
or set me free.
