View from the darkness
Here, from inside the mirror
Reflects the madness

Day dreams are jaded
Bear witness to bitter fruits
Born from ghosts, faded

Faces unfold before my eyes
Expectations of wishful divine
Hopefully, Hyperion
Where damnation remains redefined

I strive to be
The watcher in the shadows
And still I remain
The harbinger of what waits below

Into the domain
Churning with still broken hearts
Appearance maintained

Through its malevolence
As dead eyes spy a dead world
Without a penance

Drenched as your savior's unwashed prey
To add a splash of scarlet to grey
Hopelessly, Hyperion
Casually unmasking masquerades

I strive to be
The watcher in the shadows
And still I remain
The harbinger of what waits below

Faces unfold before my eyes
Expectations of wishful divine
Hopefully, Hyperion
Where damnation remains redefined

I strive to be
The watcher in the shadows
And still I remain
The harbinger in bleeding hollows

I, faithfully, refuse your faith
In me, I remain heartless
To your pleas resounding
For salvation, breathless
I, restlessly, remain a wraith
Embrace the spectre caress
In graveyard wings unfurled
With rhythm, Death is not impressed

Faces unfold before my eyes
Expectations of wishful divine
Hopefully, Hyperion
Where damnation remains redefined

I strive to be
The watcher in the shadows
And still I remain
The harbinger in bleeding hollows

i hear you

Drenched as your savior's unwashed prey
To add a splash of scarlet to grey
Hopelessly, Hyperion
Casually unmasking masquerades

I strive to be
The watcher in the shadows
And still I remain
The harbinger of what waits below
