DOG

Your Father; I didn’t really mean to shoot him in the head
But he got exactly what he deserved and now he’s dead

Your Mother; I chased her, screaming, upstairs and slit her throat
She got exactly what she deserved, she certainly wasn’t a scapegoat

Your Sister; Trapped in the kitchen I struck her with a claw hammer
Got exactly what she deserved. She put up a struggle, god damn her

Your Brother; I stabbed repeatedly with a kitchen carving knife
He got exactly what was coming to him. I swiftly ended his life

You Cousin; I strangled with a length of thick nylon cord
She got what she deserved her pleading to stop I ignored

They kicked my dog, or at least one of them did, but who?
They all thought it was just funny; they gave me no clue

I asked them to tell me who was the one
As I held them hostage at the point of my gun

They refused to assist me, offering no dialogue
To point out the bastard that kicked my poor dog

I hate cruelty to animals you know how I can be
And that’s my justification for this killing spree

What happened is what followed, these murders unplanned
They all got what they deserved, being a dog lover,
I’m sure you’ll understand
