- - - BLACK INK - - -
When I close my eyes
I can still see the black
Ink tattooed on my mind
There's nothing left inside me
A void is all that I have left
There's no cure that I can see
Down in the depths
The shadow in the glass bleeds
You cannot save me from myself
Do you dare to plunge with me
Into my Hell
There once was a fire
Burning strong in my heart
Now it's dead of desire
And the hearth has gone dark
When I seal my lips
The quelled voices grow black
Ink tattooed on my soul
I can still feel it in me
A gangerous, cancerous growth
There's no cure that I can see
Without a hope
The monster in the glass screams
You cannot save it from itself
Blind your eyes and plunge with me
Into my Hell
There once was a fire
Burning strong in my heart
Now it's dead of desire
And the hearth has gone dark
Please, light me a pyre
Burn me until I'm ash
Now I'm dead of desire
Just leave me in the past
I cannot stand to see you
I only hurt when I breath
The smoke from yesterday
I'm now black but was once blue
And I quake in my despair
Like bruise on a mourning moon
