My Angel
My Angel's happy
As she skips along the beach
Without need for clothes her wet body
Shimmers in the evening sun
She bends and reaches
For a glistening pebble
Exposing her perfect peaches
My Angel's sad
I ask her why
She says she's been bad
I draw her close
And hold her for a while
It makes her smile
My Angel's naughty
Misbehaving she won't listen
To me as I chide her
In her tantrum she screams
And shouts
I try to calm her but
She stands there and pouts
My Angel's good
Pleasing me in every way
I like it best when
She says
"I love you more each day"
As she skips along the beach
Without need for clothes her wet body
Shimmers in the evening sun
She bends and reaches
For a glistening pebble
Exposing her perfect peaches
My Angel's sad
I ask her why
She says she's been bad
I draw her close
And hold her for a while
It makes her smile
My Angel's naughty
Misbehaving she won't listen
To me as I chide her
In her tantrum she screams
And shouts
I try to calm her but
She stands there and pouts
My Angel's good
Pleasing me in every way
I like it best when
She says
"I love you more each day"
