Demons After Dark
Twilight fades to night
demons claim their very right.
Here they come to play,
looking for some lonely prey.
Shut your eyes and hold them tight,
just dont lose your will to fight.
Here to settle in your soul,
know they'll never let you go.
Understanding what you feel,
compromising's not their deal.
Left with words unspoken,
consuming off the dead and broken.
Feel hurt, take the blame,
your heart wont feel the same.
Notice voices in your ears,
playing off your very fears.
Loved me not, loved me never,
demons words oh so...
demons claim their very right.
Here they come to play,
looking for some lonely prey.

Shadows On The Floor
Monster behind the door,
watching shadows on the floor...
Hear its grumble, hear its growl,
time is of the essence now...
Took a moment to hesitate,
understand now its too late...
No time to take a rest,
feel that pounding in my chest...
Fear is now in motion,
body trembles like the ocean...
It knows my secrets, it knows my sin,
here it comes to collect again...
You should run, you should hide,
do not witness how Ive cried...
Bursting from that cage,
all I know is in its rage...
Only place I have to hide,
is...

Pity In The City
I have no pity,
in this city.
You sit under a tree,
expecting sympathy.
I care not,
that it's hot.
Look at you,
grimy fool.
Now you're just a slob,
many excuses not to have a job.
Hold your sign,
this change is mine.
Then you holler,
please, just a dollar!
Around the corner fifty cents,
to me it makes no sense.
Homeless people do compete,
claiming they want to eat.
Do you think,
you need a drink?
People sneer,
he'll buy more beer.
I earned my money,
you're not funny.

Deceit
Do you believe in your lies today?
Forever your game to play.
Secrets are your sin,
buried beneath your skin.
Your wretched heart that beats,
the sole purpose it defeats.
Cry a song for the broken hearted,
know you're forever gone, dead, departed.
You crossed a line,
no longer mine.
If they looked into your eyes,
the world would see you're full of lies.
You caused me strife,
then plunged your knife.
With one hack,
a permanent scar for my back!
