TREE-HUGGING NARCISSIST
There are people who believe we're actually a danger to this earth. That we could actually do lasting damage, with humanities girth. Allow me to educate you.
In a way most curt. Your belief that we're a threat to this world. Is a result of inflated self worth.
This is a world that survived a collision with another planet. But you think our dependence on fossil fuels, will cause a lasting hurt. We live amongst an environment that will always revert.
Back to an equilibrium. where life is diverse. Do you not understand that with every mass extinction, comes rebirth?
Or do you not care? Because a world without people, is of no real worth? Your trying to maintain humanities dominance.
Under a pretense that's blurred. That our 200 years of industry, Will cease the planets 4 billion year turn. But the only danger is to those who would dwell here.
And have yet to learn. How to live in harmony with the fact that our time here is termed. For how can we save a entire planet?
When we can't even handle our own concerns.

First poem I read on here. It felt like there was a point to prove between the destiny of human nature & mother nature that was well delivered. Quite memorable & definitely worth reading again.
