Sentence
I love you.
Why?
Sometimes I have no idea.
But I do: I love you.
I think about you.
I care about you.
I miss you when you aren't there.
I wish that you were here.
I love you,
and I don't always know why,
but I do.
It's completely true
and it's driving me insane;
to know that there is somebody
just like you
in the giant world out there,
behind the cold loneliness
painted like lead into these four walls,
and to know that you can be touched;
that you are real,
but to me,
somehow,
right now,
you might as well not be.
I love you,
and currently
that feels like the saddest sentence
ever written.
