You Think You Know Me
Let's see where I need to start,
The ones that think they know me must feel real smart.
I stay to myself without a doubt,
No feelings shown, no needing a bale out.
At first you see me as a quiet girl,
Get to know me and I'll show you an unpolished pearl.
I don't wear my heart on my sleeves,
in fear of having it stolen by thieves.
Life has thrown me many hard trials and curves,
Made me who I am today with many deserves.
If you have a chance to call yourself my friend,
Just believe me when I say we'll be that way until the end!
