Roses are red plagiarism is dead
Feel free
your unknowing victim
copy paste
rearrange
till molested my thoughts
to become yours to serve
I'll not scream or shout
as you go about your business
I'm too old to keep stabbing away at
Plagiarism through its pointy ear lobe
But
rest assured
tucked safe in your bed
sleep well prince and princesses
it's your unsuspecting loved ones
who'll be splattering this rose
blood red..

Rose, luv ~ :-*
Well said, exceedingly well said. Methinks what irritates me most is the horrid rearrangement... :-p Mayhap, if no rearrangement had taken place, I'd not say that and still be highly irate. I know not for certain, but I think tis most like me to be offended for what I feel is poor poetry reconstruction, ne c'est pas? :-p

Actually i don't go looking now
but i have in the past and it's weird seeing your work displayed from another
in some cases lol they've done a good job rearranging with better use of wording
but i care not for it now
i know what's mine
and the option of tasting the blood of their
relatives is always there so alls good here
I'm relaxed about it all

Ooohhh this is so vengeful in a great way. People who plagarize are the worst. I would hate to see my werk plastered in somebody else's hands. Good job on this piece maybe you scared ppl who even think to take ur werk not to. :) :)

They can take what they want from my poems
but surely it's a two way thing no?
So yes I do take something of theirs
though not something borrowed and preferably a splattering of red and not so blue
if you get my drift xD

I was going to say - I don't get why those types feel the need to steal others creative work ... but then I remembered where I live ... Thievery is at the core of the foundation of our society

Right on sister Rose
Stealing someone's poem is the lowest form of life, off with their heads I say ....

Well said Rose...I, too have had mine plagarised but not changed, well as far as I know...
They love the erotica but obviously don't have a brain in their head to write their own which would lead me to believe....nah, I'm not going to waste my time going there...

I was plagiarized before and I will never forgive that. I could've used vengeance that way. Reading this poem makes it a relief to let out that steam. There's no fucking with a decent poet. I like to add this to my list.

aww thankyou L.E
It was a quick piece I wrote after reading in forum chat about similar issues
I tend to make fun of it now more than get upset about it

Rose, It never seems to go away, it was just last year that we all faced the same issue.
No one would ever understand how it feels to see your own words word for word under some other person's name but war can be exhausting and at some point we have to look away.
I feel for you and for everyone else who's been victimized.

it is as it is in life as in Dup world people copy from others
i know whats mine and I'm happy that i created many good some great and a few poor but whatever the view of my poems they are at the end of the day mine and I'm happy with them all
I don't go looking for copiers anymore
I just poke fun at them with a sharpened wit stick
