I've been going around for a while now
observing, listening, learning.
Seeing what the world had to show.

I've seen some of the greatest things,
also I've seen the very worst.

When you learn about the world
your perspective changes.
Everything changes.

These days I fear the dark
as nothing good comes from it.
I'm over the bullshit, thinking darkness is cool.
Only an idiot or a sick fuck loves the dark.

I've seen the good.
Young lovers, summer days, and light.
Friends, families, hard work, and passion.
These things I've come to love.
and know to be good.

As I learned an unfortunate truth revealed to me.
Good is distinctive, as is evil.
There are two sides, though the lines are not clear,
and one is doing all it can to consume the other.

There are no gods that I have seen amongst us,
but there is something big happening.
Somehow we are all caught up in a battle
that is fought within each individual,
but affects everyone who can see.
