Enchanted Forest

Dark souls roam freely on a predestine path,
Shadows tell of the imperilment ahead,
Ignorance an outcast of all shattered dreams,
Inside a forest that in the end renders you dead...

A willow tree weeps in the silence of gloom,
The fog settles in and it is dense,
On the branches of the willow is where they wait,
And nothing here seems to make any real sense...

The forest holds illusions of strong evil ways,
Within its realms harsh shadows still dwell,
The Ferries cling with their claws to the trees,
Lured in by their Queen's vicious spell...

No sunlight can penetrate all the thick foliage,
Darkness obscured by the bliss of their rants,
Nothing in life could prepare you for this,
It is their death wish and on your soul they will dance...
†
Your emotions dissipate in the totality of fear,
While the course you are on feels possessed,
Their chants high up on the branches of trees,
A dance of demise which will soon bring you death...
†
Your intransigence will alter your chosen path,
Denial of the truth brings a definite threat,
Your feet cast their prints deep on the path ,
The darkness sets in and they arise from their rest...

Escape no longer an option at hand,
Their decent to the ground has begun,
Which no longer leaves any doubt in your mind,
That you are now the chosen one...

They caress your soul with their painful assault,
Your fluids now drained and have run dry,
You were a guest in the Enchanted Forest,
On your darkest day on which you died...
