Joyous Night
Can you hear the whisper of the night
as shadows fall in the dark; creatures
croak and chirp; as if saying hello to
the summer breeze as it gently brushes
past; Dampness drifts into my tired soul;
my drenched lips hush to you;
Have a joyous night!
as shadows fall in the dark; creatures
croak and chirp; as if saying hello to
the summer breeze as it gently brushes
past; Dampness drifts into my tired soul;
my drenched lips hush to you;
Have a joyous night!

I have always admired with what skill you incorporate nature into your work...this is a beautiful example. Wonderful verse, Tommie!
