Growing and Learning

Guessing and wondering what I ever did to deserve my fate
Continuously making mistake after mistake knowing one day it'll be too late
Never making it never really getting very far
Falling short every time never knowing who you are
I've changed but I'm me why don't they see
I'm not very different just grown,  aged, I'm me
Older wiser not that naive girl I used to be
Growing and learning trying not to make the same mistakes is key
Life hurts its hard I'm protective over myself
Trying to keep my sanity sometimes that's all I feel I have left
When you've been knocked down as much as me
You start to get up slower each time you see
Mentally I'm bothered inside and out
So it's hard to live life without any doubt
I struggle daily just tryna survive
Wishing  and praying one day I'll feel alive....
