Space
I laid on the grass one night,
Knowing that your words were nothing but right.
We were like stars.
At first glance we looked close,
But in reality you were Pluto and I was Mars.
Now you're just a black hole,
Playing with my heart and swallowing it whole.
Night after night I dream about you in another dimension,
The one where you and I have a lasting connection.
Honey your mind is space,
So vast, quiet, and beautiful.
Sadly I forgot that space was a vacuum,
And for my ignorance I got the only happiness sucked out of my life.
