Some Things You Should Know About Me, My Love

Your lode stone kisses draws me here
That keeps us locked apart in fear
It's the static charge of my wandering eyes
That superficially excites my size,
My love.

Waves of affection to hold you down
While the shallow waters move around
Its not the maelstrom that has me centered
Instead I watch the debris as it enters,
My love.

The wind has many hands
In the dust storms swirling fans
The words I express the care that's shown
While the fantasies of others turn me on,
My love.

Just as the trees are in need for rain
Your pail of water does not heal my pain
As much as I pine away for your touch
It’s in my numbness that I want too much,
My love.

The orchid is not prettier than the rose
Nor does the weed decide on the path it chose
One is beckoned by its own nature
The other eyes beauty from another creature,
My love.
