And so it was written
'neath the apple tree
was we
I sewing lace
as he viewed my delicacies
making more webs to capture
translucent in the early light
If not for our flushed
unveiling no one would have
known what had transpired
earlier
upon the table tired out was he
with his pleasure struggles
within my web I made

I am particularly fond of this piece,
call me "old fashioned" if you must
but the allure of your romantic words
are akin to the picture you have chosen.
It's made me think, we lack good ole fashioned
romance, in this our modern world.
