The demon inside me

I should have been much stronger
to life this life longer.
but it had reached a point,
where it all ended.

My soul died at this day.
A broken child left alone!
I didnt find the right way
home to my safe place.
I assumed the darkness into my own
transforming my heart into stone.

I saw you inside of my soul
-The Demon-
hiding in the darkest corner of my shattered soul.
you tried to kill my innermost feelings
and my faith in everything good.
But there wasnt anything left to slay
in your way down to the core.

Now you are sitting inside of me
oppressing everything
which is depressing me.

I thank you for making me stronger
to life this life longer
without feelings and fear!
I will be ready to survive the next tear!
