Metra Walks
Water waves its way to me,
as I walk my body out to sea.
My metal mind is right as rain.
It's ok. I'm not insane.
Just bound for the bottom
of the briny deep,
where sound is silent
and I can surely sleep.
Where man once was
I don't want to be.
Now that he's gone
I'm finally free.
So I'll walk my body
far out to sea
and let the ocean depths
wash over me.
