Thee eXtended Holi'day Elegy

 as 'my' in
       sa
       ni
       ty wages wags wibble'wobbles
             most heart'illy on
          itsway to thee Lawd'a'Mighty,
wee gathered all 4 sibbledings
       for a holi'day, of sorts


thee sibbledings all took a ride on the
       Atlantic Ocean
on a US Coast Guard vehicle (a boat, yknow?)
        with Father in a black box.

The crewmen(kids)was all as nice as can be.

at an undesignated point, they stopped the boat.
        One of the crew read some sentimental
      military passages pertaining to the
         situation,
& Father was thusly dumped into the sea, as per
     his 'wishes', 3yrs+9.5months after his
     expiration day (in the year 2011 A.D.-
               that means Anno Domini, or
                      something like that)

Eye saw no tears or silly solemnity. Aye played
"Popeye The Sailor Man", "Amazing Grace", & "Taps",
   & reprised wit an improvisation on the "Popeye"
                 theme.

(much to my amazement), everyone had a nice time.
       
    Even I.
            Even the Guardsmen........
