The Truth Undressed

When words, whether whispered or wailed,
Reverse reality and render repulsive  
Any attempt at augmenting authenticity,
The typewriter is the tool of truth  
that thwarts the test of time
From falsifying fragmented facts and fantasies.
 
Poems, which permanently pen purposeful pictures
To show sensibility is as certain as speculation
Become the basis for binding belief and being
While legitimizing the lie that's life.
